Message from the PTA

Hello Rockdale Community!

When you send your child to Rockdale, you can feel confident that your child is safe, nurtured, and well educated by a dedicated group of teachers and staff. Through the PTA, we have the opportunity to enhance our beloved students' experience and strengthen that community. Organizing fun activities such as Fall Festival, school dances, movie nights, and offering our children after school enrichment classes, we strengthen our Rockdale bond.

By funding programs such as Focus Fish (a dance, movement, and PE program), LA Opera, Garden School Foundation (edible garden and lessons), performance and visual art teachers, and more, we have been able to provide our children with a rich and diverse school experience that they would not otherwise have had.

Our goal as PTA members is to gather the resources and talents of our community to bring more programs and events and continue the existing ones that help our children thrive.

We welcome any contribution whether it's financial, your time, talents or skills. All is vital and appreciated!

PTA should not be seen as an obligation. Being part of the PTA is about being part of our children's world, it's feeling pride in showing support and giving a voice to advocate for our children's welfare and education.

We are excited to work with all of you in these endeavors, and look forward to a fantastic year!
