After School Programs and Clubs

The grant funded Youth Development Program (YDP) provided by LAUSD's Beyond the Bell program offers opportunity for after school care for students at Rockdale from Kindergarten through 6th grade. The program provides enrichment activities, physical activity and homework support. Additionally, there's also the opportunity for Youth Services, a less structured after school program that cares for students is grades 2 through 6.

Clubs are offered in the Fall a Spring. Clubs meet on a weekly basis for 8 to 10 week sessions. After school clubs are taught by teachers, staff, vetted parent and community volunteers. In the past, these clubs have included Chess, Disc Golf, Drama, Yoga and Mindfulness, Art, Book Clubs, and Music. Stay connected to learn more about this year's clubs.
